First Step

Today during 6th period i was called down to the attendance office to pick up a form from officer Labretti that i have to get filled out in order to go through with the ride along with an officer. I hope that i will start doing the ride alongs soon, im getting more excited after each step taken. I am not able to attend class today though because i have to take my mother to the doctor but i will have to see Mr. Murphy at a later date.

Meeting with Officer Labretti

This morning at 8:30, Packard had set up a meeting for me to talk to Officer Labretti. I was excited to meet him and hear the things he had to say. I was also with 2 other students at this meeting. Officer Labretti was very nice and he looks forward to helping us out with our projects. He said that some possibilities of what we would be able to do was take a tour of a court room, watch a live trial, take a tour of the jail, shadow an officer on duty, or take a tour of the crime lab. After hearing all this possibilities about what we can do, I am beginning to be very excited about starting my internship. Labretti had sad we would probably get started the week we come back from break. Im looking forward to after break already!

Mentor Meeting

I found Mr. Packard today during third period and we set up our meeting day. We plan to meet every monday during third period. I look foward to these meetings because i have know Pack for a while and i know this will be a great experience. I know he will help me out a lot and we will build up our teacher student relatonship.

Search For Packard

Today I went on q voyage around the school to look for the mysterious Mr. Packard. Unfortunately, i was not able to find him but i had seen him this morning and he aid he was going to talk to an officer soon! I am getting very excited to star my internship with a officer. I think it's going to be very exciting to do!
